Your Made-to-Measure fitting

At your appointment we will begin by talking about what you would like to create for your custom commission. We thenchoose your cloth. We will look through cloth from our favorite mills, such as Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Holland & Sherry, Fox Brothers, and more. Next, we willconduct your fittingusing measuring tape, jacket, trouser, and vest templates, to create your unique made-to-measure pattern. Our robust fitting process helps ensure the fit you are looking for. We take into account standard things like lengths and circumferences, but also technically challenging areas such as posture, shoulder slope, sleeve pitch and more. Finally we will discuss thedesign customizationsfor your garment. Choose many design details, including lapels, pockets, cuffs, buttons, linings and more. You also can control whether full-canvas, half-canvas, or unstructured. Fully-lined, half-lined, no shoulder pad, light padding, or heavy padding. These details dictate the way the suit will look and wear. Don't worry, your Style Consultant will help guide you through this part of the process.

Your Suit is Built from Scratch

Our team springs into action, ordering all of the materials needed for your commission and ships them to our tailors in Europe, who then develop your pattern and cut and sew your suit, shirt, or topcoat. It is then shipped to us. You will receive weekly emails, keeping you up to date as your garment moves through the various steps of production. Your one-of-a-kind piece will be completed in 4-6 weeks.

Final Fitting

Once your garment is finished, you will be contacted and a 30 minute "final fitting" will be scheduled. This is when you will try on your new clothing and we will assess the fit and make sure everything is just right. We will discuss every aspect of the fit. If anything needs adjusting, we will cover it 100% until your pattern is perfect.
